DJ Carlos Nascimento hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He’s been a denizen in New York City clubs and lounges for over ten years.
Carlos was awed by the musical soundscapes on Saturday nights at New York’s legendary Roxy while listening to DJ’s Victor Calderone, Peter Rauhoffer, Junior Vasquez, Manny Lehman to name a few.
In 2003, Carlos met legendary Saint DJ Susan Morabito at New York’s Splash Bar and asked her to mentor him. She happily broke down the science of the beats that led him to his current sound of House Tribal Electro beats.
His early achievements brought him to spin at the Media Awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom. For the past three years, Carlos has been the DJ for The Miracle House Summer Kick Off Party.
You may have heard his beats in New York French Connections Stores where he is the official DJ in residence. At G Lounge in Chelsea he is a regular guest DJ once a month.
