Susan’s understanding of music and the feelings of a group of people has given her ability to take her dancers on a journey that has touched, influenced, and moved dancers for decades. She leads her audience on a journey moving them in one, collective, uplifting and powerful rhythm. Community, Camaraderie, experimental, originality and indelibly spiritual music are what she brings to the dance floor.
Leaving Cleveland to explore the art of DJing Susan moved to New York in 1987. With intrigue and determination, by 1991 she captured the hearts of the predominately gay audience at the Pavilion in Fire Island Pines, the beach resort for New York City’s gay community. She continued for many summers and that led to gigs back in the city, around the nation and also in Europe.
Playing for varied audiences and at clubs and events in the gay community nationally, she continues to attract new fans and maintains longevity in the booth that is notable among her peers.
After twenty-five years, Susan has just as much of a passion for DJing as she did when she first started.
Susan is currently attending Berklee Music College studying Music Production and Music theory and is anxious to start producing her own material.
